SIMPOW - DSL Modelling Course


Course Duration: The duration of the DSL modelling course is 3 days.

Course Goal: The goal of this course is to teach students to write their own models in DSL, both regulators and primary components.

Student Profile: The student will be a Simpow user with need for development of advanced regulator models or primary components.

Prerequisites and Recommendations
The student should have some knowledge of Simpow prior to attending this course.

Description
This course will teach all attendees about the dynamic simulation language, DSL, used in Simpow. The course will cover the basic structure of DSL by making a regulator model. The interface between Optpow/Dynpow and DSL is described. Definitions available for development of primary component models will also be covered. The course also gives a deeper understanding of dynamic simulations. Exercises where the participants make their own regulator and primary component models are a vital part of the course.
